Users are generally assigned to a single motor pool location. If you need to access more than one motor pool, go to Vehicle Use on the left navigation, select My Profile, select the Permissions tab, then select Request Additional Sites at the top right. Complete the form including the reason you need the access and submit.

Access to motor pool vehicles is 24/7 using the Ottawa Street entrance with access available through a state employee's ID card. Personal vehicles may be parked in the ramp while an employee is using a state vehicle.
Pedestrians should use the north door to access the kiosk and key box on that level using their state employee ID card.
Secondary Complex Motor Pool

Drivers must go to the west side of the VTS Building and park their personal vehicle. Drivers should then enter the door marked Motor Pool. Use the kiosk to select the vehicle and open the key box to obtain the vehicle key and fuel card. Upon return, record the odometer reading, fuel level, and parking space number before leaving the vehicle. Use the kiosk to check in the vehicle and return the key to the key box.
Detroit Classy Caddy Motor Pool

Access to motor pool vehicles is 24/7. When the gate is closed, the ramp is still accessible by using the access card located in the fuel card holder.
The kiosk and key box are located on the wall in the small hallway north of the main lobby just past the elevator on the Cass (east) side near the security station.
Upon return, record the odometer reading, fuel level, and parking space number before leaving the vehicle. Use the kiosk to check in the vehicle and return the key to the key box.

The kiosk and key box are located inside the Office Building in the lobby area where the concessions stand used to be. Enter the front door to the lobby. The kiosk and key box are on the wall to the west. .
Access to motor pool vehicles is 24/7. After office hours, the security guard must open the parking lot gate. In order to exit the parking lot, employees must use their state ID. Drivers must obtain a token from the security guard to exit the parking ramp.
Flint Motor Pool - DTMB

DHS motor pool vehicles are located in the U of M - Flint Parking Ramp, Fourth Floor, spaces 68-77.
The kiosk and key box are located inside the Office Building door in the hallway leading to the loading dock. Enter the front door and turn to the left. Go through two sets of doors and take the first hallway on the right.
The kiosk and key box are on the wall to the left. If your office is not located within this building, you will need to provide a copy of your reservation confirmation and your state employee ID card to a security guard who will then open the second set of doors for you to access the kiosk and key box.
Access to motor pool vehicles is limited to 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and to 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday. Access is not available on the weekend.
Grand Rapids Motor Pool - DTMB

The kiosk and key box are located inside the State Office Building in the hallway leading to the loading dock. After entering the office building locate the stainless steel door beside the elevators. This door leads to the loading dock and the kiosk and key box will be straight in front of you.
All motor pool vehicles will be located on level F of the parking garage. Level F can be accessed by pressing the EF button in the elevator. Once you exit the elevator you will need to descend a small flight of stairs which will bring you to the motor pool parking area. Each vehicle is assigned a specific parking spot. All vehicles should be returned to the corresponding parking spot indicated on the fuel card holder attached to the keys of the vehicle.
Each vehicle has a garage access card hanging from the rearview mirror. DO NOT REMOVE this tag.
If your office is not located within this building and you need to pick up a vehicle after hours (7:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F), you will need to ring the doorbell on the Ottawa Ave entrance to have the guard open the door. You will need to provide a copy of your reservation confirmation and your state employee ID card to a security guard who will let you into the building.
